Communication with people is the basic element of business. The leaders of Polish and global economy know that growth is an integrated part of a company’s DNA. Cooperation with international partners consists in the exchange of contacts and knowledge.
Interpretation helps to achieve these objectives and positively affects the pace of decision-making processes.
Simultaneous interpreting is done by an interpreter sitting e.g. in a booth, using headphones. The participants of the meeting also use headphones to listen to the interpreting. This type of interpreting is used wherever an instant, almost concurrent perception of the speaker’s speech is needed. The requirements specified for the implementation of this type of service are: the appropriate interpreting equipment – a simultaneous booth and headphones, a mixer and if needed, a sound system.
Consecutive interpreting is done in sequences after a certain part of the speaker’s speech has been finished. The speaker waits for the part of his or her speech to be interpreted. The listeners of such a speech must focus on what the speaker shows and then match the content which is already intelligible after being interpreted. This type of interpreting requires sound equipment and a microphone in the case of a large group or, in the case of a more private meeting, only an interpreter.
